BIOGRAPHY
Often taking herself, her family and sometimes her art practice as subjects, D’Ette Nogle works on projects that offer complicated juxtapositions informed by pop culture, conceptualism and psychoanalysis. She had her first solo exhibition at LACE in 2001 and has since shown at David Salow Gallery in Los Angeles and Museum Voor Moderne Kunst in Arnhem, Netherlands, among other venues.  After taking a several year hiatus, she recently completed a project titled Suspended Projection for the Room Gallery at the University of California, Irvine.  Nogle received her MFA from UCLA. She lives and works in Los Angeles.
