BIOGRAPHY
Born in Mexico, Carmen Argote currently lives and works in downtown Los Angeles. Her artwork explores the systems of organization that surround us, ranging from architecture to Pac-man. It includes ceramics, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, and painting. Argote received her MFA from UCLA in 2007 and she has exhibited locally at g727 and the Center for the Arts, Eagle Rock. She currently teaches ceramics at CSU Los Angeles.
