BIOGRAPHY
Claudia Parducci divides her time between Los Angeles and the Mojave desert. The desert informs much of her recent work, which relates to survivalism, fear and language. Her mediums vary from survivalist structures to 'sign' paintings using Morse Code or images of skywriting. Parducci has had solo shows at Torrance Art Museum; Mint Gallery at CalArts; L-Shape Gallery in Valencia; D301 Gallery in Laguna Beach; and Ochi Gallery in Sun Valley, Idaho. Her work has also been featured in group exhibitions at Torrance Art Museum; ARTRA Curatorial at TLofts, Los Angeles; Bowman/Bloom Gallery, New York; and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tijuana, among others. She received her MFA and BFA from CalArts. She is an active member of the artist collaborative Durden and Ray.
Curated by Kim McCarthy.
