Item Description
We are grateful to many people for their willingness to pitch in and support our efforts to keep our libraries open. "Grass Roots Movement" may be an overused phrase - but it perfectly describes the folks who have helped launch this campaign, as well as those who are providing the momentum to sustain it.
Whether the contribution involved a donation of goods or services, time or expertise – all demonstrate the importance of libraries to the community. Authors stand shoulder-to-shoulder with local boutique businesses, hit TV shows with artists, students, and retirees... As they always do, each facet of the community has stepped forward to lend a helping hand. Thank you...
Thank you to our Sponsors, The Evanston Roundtable, Perennials, Make it Better and EPLfriends for their support.
Our Donors are incredible! Without their generosity, artistic talent or originality, this auction would not be feasible.
A special thank you to the folks behind the scenes for the hundreds of phone calls made, emails sent, canvassing the community on foot, designing artwork, handling printing, photographing the items, setting up the website, handling the PR, following up on every possibility, and generally organizing the bazillion details necessary to launch this in only a few short weeks!
