Item Description
A night of music for four at Zinc Bar owned by Eric and Karen Hallam, Q2L Parents. New York Times writes about this bar:
New York Times Review
The Brazilian Beat parties on Sunday nights get going around 11 at this intimate, low-ceilinged bar, with samba, soul and funk mostly from the 1960s and '70s. Get there early or you’ll probably have to wait until the end of a set to get a decent seat among the mixed-age, multi-ethnic crowd. You can also get a decent caipirinha should you want to stick with the Brazilian theme.
Friday nights always feature African music. Depending on the weekend, you might find Source with Abdoulaye Diabaté, an interracial New York-based African group, or the African jazz and funk of the African Blue Notes, led by the Cameroonian singer and guitarist Martino Atagana.
