Antiono Zaccarella. Italian potter
Antonio Zaccarella was born in 1951 in Isernia where he attended and received in 1970 his art diploma from the “Istituto D’Arte”. He studied his Raku pottery with Lori Romero of Perugia in Italy, where they eventually established their own pottery style. Since 1985 he has devoted his attention and research to Raku ceramics creating exclusive new shapes and designs. The term “Raku” means celebrate the day and live in harmony with one’s environment. Earth, Air, Fire and Water are the key elements of this suggestive technique. The firm produces single items or limited quantities handmade. Artistic items entirely produced within the firm are on exhibit in art galleries or sold in qualified shops in Italy and abroad. Antonio Zaccarella has won many art awards.
