Located in Evanston, Steve and his team specialize in the restoration, alteration and expansion of older North Shore residences.
His work has been published in House Beautiful, Traditional Home, Metropolitan Home, Better Homes & Gardens, The Chicago Tribune, numerous Better Homes & Gardens specialty editions, other specialty kitchen & bath publications, Country Living, Professional Remodeler, AIA Focus and the Evanston Review.
He has received the Marjorie B. Perkins Award for the Gross Point Lighthouse restoration, the Driehaus Preservation Award, and three Evanston Preservation Awards for residential projects.
Steve has served as chairman of the Evanston Preservation Commission, board member and vice president of the Evanston Historical Society, and member of the Evanston Plan Commission. He is a life member of the Kendall County Historical Society, and is currently involved with the Village of Millbrook Planning Committee. Steve and his wife Mary have lived in Evanston for the past 34 years.
