Item Description
Thameside is a David Winter cottage that sits on the side of the river Thames (pronounced Temms), which runs through the heart of London, England. It was issued in Spring of 1993 as the 13th of the Collector’s Guild cottages, being available only to Guild members.
This piece was limited to just one year of production and came with a fake bottle of water from the river Thames. The original idea was to include real water, but this was not allowed due to health and safety regulations. As a compromise the enclosed bottle is made from the same crystacal material used to make the cottages, mixed with real Thames water.
At 5.5” tall, this cottage comes in the original box with a certificate of authenticity.
