Item Description
Nobody needs to tell anyone who's seen any of his classic movies that this is a portrait of the immortal Spencer Tracy. The star's likeness is captured masterfully in this pencil-and-charcoal portrait by Providence artist John Berberian.
An award-winning, self-taught artist, John has been acclaimed for his life-like depictions, giving his subjects intensity and humanity reminiscent of Norman Rockwell. John exhibited a life-size drawing of Buffalo Bill Cody in a government building in Washington, DC. Twelve of his portraits are on display at the Titanic Museum in Fall River and eighteen of his Civil War portraits made up a solo exhibit at the Military Park in Gettysburg, PA.
Item Special Note
This charcoal and pencil drawing measures 21 1/4" H x 17"W.
