Item Description
Chaos I is the title of this pencil-on-paper work depicting conflict and motion. It's by artist Jessie Nickerson of Cotuit, MA.
A Cape Cod native (her family settled there in the 1600s), Jessie was trained in arts at the Reitweld Academy in Amsterdam, as well as at the Parsons School of Design in New York.
Nickerson’s work has always been strongly rooted in the subconscious. Today she creates surreal environments, which combine elements of observation, internal musings and fairytale iconography.
