Item Description
Project Shaw is your monthly guide to reason. The Irish-born George Bernard Shaw was an outspoken advocate for human rights, political awareness, personal responsibility, and in his complete works you will find a lifetime of scathing wit, silly names, and serious questions. Between 2006 and 2009, Project Shaw produced every sketch, full-length and one-act play in the Shavian canon—many of which had never before been seen in New York, or anywhere in this country. The series continues in 2010 at The Players, New York’s most legendary private club, where all-star casts perform concert readings of Shaw’s works one Monday each month. And just in case your four pairs of tickets to any Project Shaw performances don’t satisfy your curiosity, you’ll also receive the complete Shaw library in six volumes.
