Item Description
Henry J. Peck (1880-1964) worked in oil and charcoal, and also became know for his etchings.His writing and art appeared in several publications, including The Saturday Evening Post, Harper's Weekly, Outing, Redbook, and Collier's.
Fearful that several interesting buildings in the Providence area would be lost to future generations, Peck went through the city and sketched city landmarks including this perspective of the State House.
