Item Description
Get two ground floor tickets for Friday, December 10, 2010 at Staples Center in Los Angeles today for a chance to see Andrea Bocelli, renowned opera singer highly respected for his wide range of vocal ability. For opera and classical fans there is no other comparison to this Italian tenor’s unique and powerful voice. There is no need to have a extensive understanding of opera to enjoy this phenomenal performer. Although blind since adolescence, his incomparable talent has lead to more than 60 million in record sales. These tickets offer you the chance to see opera at its finest with Andrea Bocelli’s extraordinary gift and vision, that have undoubtedly made him the most celebrated vocalist in the world.
Bocelli, born in Tuscany, Italy in 1958, had learned how to play the piano, flute, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, harp, guitar and drums all by the age of six. By age twelve, his eyesight, already affected by glaucoma, was lost in a football accident. By age 14, Bocelli won his first singing competition. He then went on to study law at the University of Pisa.
Amazingly, Andrea Bocelli’s career did not start until the 1980s when he began performing free at piano bars across Italy. In 1993, while singing at a party a talent scout heard Bocelli and signed him immediately. Since then, Andrea Bocelli tickets have been at the top of the best selling opera tickets. Bocelli can sing in Italian, English, French, Spanish and German.
