Item Description
Figurine for the Hummel collector, Girl with Basket and Letter. This is from the early 40's, when Hummels were of plaster and made in the US since German imports were not possible and the Goebel porcelain plant was not in operation in Germany.
Hand painted - Made in U.S.A. Significant wear and cracking on the item.
Item Special Note
This is an interesting addition to Hummel collections to show the aging of non-porcelain items, and the gap in production of original M.I.Hummel by Goebel.
