Unique Experiences
Item Description
Help support the Nantucket Historical Association by stepping back in history and experiencing a magical evening in Nantucket's Oldest House. Ten lucky people will join Bill Tramposch, executive director of the NHA, and his wife, Peggy, for a night that will be long remembered. After enjoying cocktails in the garden and learning some of the history of this treasured house, you and your guests will then move indoors for an elegant candlelit dinner.
The Oldest House was built in 1686 as a wedding gift for Mary Gardner and Jethro Coffin by the groom's father and was the most luxurious on the island the year it was built. It is the oldest structure in Nantucket.
The Nantucket Historical Association is proud to offer this rare opportunity to the lucky bidder through this auction only. The date is to be agreed upon at a mutually convenient time and can be arranged up until October of 2011.
