Item Description
The first step to ensure energy efficiency is an Energy Audit by an accredited energy analyst, also known as a HERS Rater. Specially trained to understand the complex interactions with your home or commercial property, a HERS Rater is uniquely qualified to diagnose key issues that can affect durability, energy efficiency, safety and overall health. Once they have uncovered a problem, your Rater will prescribe upgrades you can make to improve the comfort and quality of your home or office as well as save you money on future utility bills.
A walk-through energy audit from one of ESG Energy's HERS Raters can help you:
• save money on energy costs
• have a more comfortable home
• reduce carbon emissions and thus your carbon footprint
• obtain a loan for upgrading an existing home or buying a new one
• qualify for tax credits
ESG Energy will employ some of the same diagnostic tools at your property as are used during the energy rating process for certifying an ENERGY STAR Home or LEED commercial property.
