The beautiful book on America's First woman cartoonist and creator of the Kewpie Dollis has French cut soft cover, oversize 12"x 9-1/2" 68 pages. It is also signed by the author Linda Brewster and includes more than two Rose O'Neill Illustrations on every page in color including dozen's of O'Neill's illustrations not published since the early 1900's.
This book tells of her remarkable childhood until her moved to New York City where she became the world most famous cartoonist and illustrator of the times. First illustrator to portray ethnic groups as real people and not cariactures. Dedicated her life to literacy for young children through her books and cartoons.
Released 2009 by Boxing Day Books and winning two finalist awards from the USA Best Book for 2009.
