I selected 25 individual arcing lines, repeated as an accumulation of markings to commemorate the first 25 years of CERF+. The markings seem to me to represent pathways, think routes crisscrossing a continent, where each one is a year's journey, building upon themselves and gradually developing into a cohesive whole. I look forward to years 36, 49, 64, 81 and so on until all white space is filled in and the great work of CERF+ is done. Imagine: A day when craftspeople are on such solid ground that accidents never happen!
Please Note: Winning bidder is responsible for shipping and handling costs to be paid directly to artist (estimaged at $25)
James Aarons on CERF+:
I love CERF+. It’s an organization that helps me feel at home. On a daily basis, CERF+ is a resource of valuable information and is a support system in moments of crisis. To me, CERF+ is something like a crossroads in a small town we all pass through and know that the road we personally travel is the road we all travel. CERF+: part of the foundation of our community.
