Item Description

Enjoy a special behind-the-scenes tour at the world-renowned Endangered Wolf Center, the center responsible for helping both the red wolf and the Mexican Gray wolf avoid extinction. The center, founded in 1971 by naturalist Marlin Perkins and his wife, Carol, spans 63 acres and is home to a number of endangered wolf species. The tour will be led by Marlin, Carol and their daughter, Marguerite, along with other staff. Your tour for up to four people will include a 1½ hour visit with five critically endangered species, including the most endangered wolf in the world, the Mexican gray wolf. You will also have the opportunity to view South American maned wolves, African wild dogs, swift foxes and red wolves native to the United States. This once-in-a-lifetime, up-close-and-personal viewing is a rare opportunity to get close to wolves and other mammals in the dog family.

Item Special Note

Tour must be scheduled at a mutually agreed time and date. Certain blackout dates may apply based upon medical or research needs of the animal collection. It is highly suggested that the visit be scheduled for the fall as the weather is more pleasant. If bidder would like the chance to hear the wolves howl, a morning or early evening time frame is suggested.
