Item Description
Back when the United States issued currency that represented true worth in the form of reserved gold and silver, the Silver Certificate was the work horse of the economic system. Prior to 1965, this silver certificate could have been redeemed for one dollar in sibler at any Federal Reserve Bank across the country. What was once a true measure of value has now become a widely collected area within the US currency market. Certified PMG67, the present example is a wonderful representative of a by gone era in our nation's economic past. Lake Houston Coin and Bullion can keep you connected with the latest in coin collecting here!
