Item Description

Dr. Alyssa Guglielmo is a Chiropractic Physician who prides herself on the specialized hands-on care she provides for her patients. Looking beyond the obvious symptoms, she focuses on the underlying cause of the patient's discomfort in order to bring true relief, prevention, and ideally optimal health.  Dr. Alyssa Guglielmo is Board Certified in Pediatric Chiropractic Care (CACCP) through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Also through the ICPA, she holds certification in the Webster Technique, a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment which balances the pelvic muscles and ligaments of pregnant women to help reduce the cause of intrauterine constraint.  Dr. Guglielmo is also certified in the Graston Technique, a revolutionary myofascial release technique that can loosen even the most chronic, long-standing adhesions. She has also done training in rehabilitative techniques, Reiki and Craniosacral Therapy. This hour-long session will include an examination, history and consultation, and treatment using whichever techniques are needed to bring relief and healing to the patient.

Item Special Note

After graduating cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Guglielmo went on to study chiropractic at New York Chiropractic College, from which she graduated magna cum laude with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. Before completing her chiropractic degree, Dr. Guglielmo earned a spot in an advanced internship with South Shore Neurologic Associates and Chronic Pain Options of Long Island. There she worked closely with Chiropractors, Neurologists and Physical Therapists and learned successful treatment protocols for chronic pain and other conditions. As mentioned above, Dr. Guglielmo just added CACCP to her list of credentials and never underestimates the importance of continuing education.
