Item Description
Origami may have originated in Japan but some of the most innovative work in that revered art form is originating right here in Rhode Island!
This all-paper sculpture, Three Curious Flowers Explore Their Growing Environment, was created by RI-based artist Benjamin John Coleman. Colors were inspired by the Rhode Island PBS logo; flowers and leaves are folded paper while stems, planter and stand are made from newspaper using the Magikami technique (invented by Coleman.) Also included is a signed copy of the first book in the Origami Bonsai series.
