Item Description

Since making her first appearance for BC/EFA at age 94 in the 12th Annual EASTER BONNET Competition at the New Amsterdam Theatre where she first appeared in The Ziegfeld Follies of 1918, 1919 and 1920, BC/EFA's dear friend Doris Eaton Travis became a favorite of entirely new generations of fans and a beloved part of every EASTER BONNET Competition since.

Two weeks after her unforgettable appearance in 2010's EASTER BONNET COMPETITION at age 106, Doris passed away peacefully in her sleep, and the final living Ziegfeld Girl passed from this earth.

Today, you can take home a collection of one-of-a-kind memorabilia and collectibles marking BC/EFA's great friendship with this truly remarkable lady.   These include:

  • A framed color print from photographer Rivka Katvan of Doris celebrating her 100th birthday at the 2004 EASTER BONNET Competition - signed by Ms. Travis.
  • A  framed collection of photographs of Doris dancing with cast members of BILLY ELLIOT at the 2009 EASTER BONNET Competition
  • Doris' final Christmas card and letter to the BC/EFA staff signed by Ms. Travis
  • A DVD of all Doris's appearances in the EASTER BONNET Competition from1998 - 2010.  The ultimate collection.
  • A copy of Doris' autobiography "The Days We Danced", signed by Ms. Travis.
