Texas Millipede #2

Item Description
One morning while going for a hike at sunrise in Big Bend National Park, TX, I crossed paths with this millipede. It was quietly resting on the leaves of a native lechuguilla plant. I couldn’t help but notice its beautiful lines and curves and the way the light was describing its form.
Many of my current works are focused on noticing and bringing attention to common occurrences that can be seen and experienced in nature. Unusual points of view and close-ups of smaller organisms are exposed to engage the viewer with these life-forms. It is my hope that one may develop a more observant eye as well as their other senses to enjoy and peacefully co-exist with other life-forms that we share this planet with.
