Item Description
About 1 1/4" round, these large gypsy hoop earrings of thick rope-twist form can't possibly be overlooked when you wear them. Their golden color is a great pretender, bright but not brassy, so they'll go well with your real gold jewelry. They appear to be plated with high-carat gold.
Signed Trifari on each comfortable clip back, these date from around 1960, but the hoop style is as stylish now as it was then. Surface wear is minimal, most visible only under high magnification, and the clips work like a dream.
The hoops hail from a Texas estate, but this rope-twist chain that's such a great match is a more recent find from a New England collection. The necklace, which measures 14 inches and isn't signed, is also in terrific condition and most likely dates from the 1960s, too.
