Item Description
12" X 12" X 1.5" Digital collage from monoprint images printed onto canvas with underpainted gold wash. Mounted to board
The image was created from a digital sacn of an original monoprint made of geranium leaves, a piece of netting and Akua ink. The new digital image was inkjet printed onto a canvas that was painted with iridescent gold pigments.
Mary Taylor is a contemporary printmaker working with alternative monoprints processes to create prints and artists books. Her art work and books are widely exhibited, and several of her works have been commissioned for corporate collections. She teaches alternative printmaking processes at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Norwalk, CT, at the International Center for Photography, New York, and in her Marshfield, MA studio.

This item can be shipped via UPS or picked up at the Museum from Nov. 10th - Nov. 17th. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs.
