Item Description

"A Japanese Cover" is a 4" x 4" hand-tooled copper plate based on a Nara, Japan Cover. After the antique application, highlights were restored with fine steel wool. The finish was preserved with a protective spray. A colonial type 8" x 8" easel-back or wall frame is rough-textured with burnished highlights. Exposed nail heads at the inner border accent the art.
