Item Description
Larry Winslow started working in stained glass when his children gave him a stained-glass kit as a present about 35 years ago. Finding it a welcome break from six-days-a-week as an electrician, he really took to the craft and his work was so good he was juried into the Artisans' Guild of Cape Cod and the Society of Cape Cod Craftsmen.
You can see why from the classic look of this fine, stained-glass lamp. It's made with stained glass, copper foil and solder, with the patina applied.
Today, Larry and his wife Betty operate the Reed n Glass Shop in Brewster. She makes the reed baskets; he makes the stained glass!
Item Special Note
Larry Winslow is a member of the Society of Cape Cod Craftsmen, a professional organization whose members have hosted live craft fairs on the Cape for 58 years. He is also a member of the Artisans Guild of Cape Cod.
This beautiful lamp stands 22" high.
