Why our radios are different: our philosophy 

Sporty’s radios aren’t like other aviation radios. That’s because each one is designed and tested by our staff of pilots, flight instructors and aircraft owners—our radios are for pilots, by pilots. The goal is to have all the features you need, with nothing you don’t. So while the SP-400 is loaded with useful functions, it’s still surprisingly easy to use. There are no menus to navigate or complicated settings. Just type in the frequency you want to use and the SP-400 does the rest automatically.
