Item Description
Its future may be uncertain but this much is fact: The Arcade, Providence, was America's first indoor shopping facility.
This timeless photo from Howard Rubenstein of North Kingstown, RI shows the interior of the Greek Revival structure as it was not long ago: A bustling center of commerce (and food) in Downtown Providence.
Hats off to Howard: He was able to accomplish a complete career switch, from periodontist to award-winning professional photographer!
Item Special Note
This framed photograph measures 17"H x 27"W. It is one from a series of ten prints.
