Item Description
Looking for a place to hold your staff and/or board retreat?
Why not book this wonderful facility in the North Carolina mountains (near Highland) for a 3-5 day stay?
The Facility:
The 3 story, 4,000 SF structure contains six bedrooms. The main living area is an open floor plan, with plenty of natural light and beautiful woods views.
The kitchen is furnished with state-of-the-art appliances including gas range, large energy-star refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster over and disposal.
The 12’ dining room table seats 14, with seating for 8 more at the breakfast nook table and kitchen counter.
A two sided gas fireplace provides warmth and visual coziness.
The spacious laundry room includes state-of-the-art front load washer, energy-star dryer, wash basin and counter top. Also included: Wi-fi, satellite TV, and treadmill.
The Surroundings:
Located near the end of an unpaved road deep in the woods, there is only one neighbor visible from the property.. The 2.5 acre site borders the Nantahala national forest, so guests are treated to an unlimited backyard of woods, waterfalls, meadows, cliffs, creeks and trails . . . all the adventure nature has to offer.
In the yard we have installed a campground style charcoal grill for cookouts, and a fire ring with plenty of benches for nightly campfires. The “wild and scenic” Chattooga River is a 15 minute hike through deep woods.
