Item Description
All warmth comes from the sun, and that's the inspiration for this original acrylic, Winter to Warmth by Andrew Sylvestre. This work reflects the unrelenting, cutting harshness of winter, contrasted with the smooth, nearly confrontational warm saturation of the air of summer and spring.
Sylvestre earned an AAS in Graphic Design from Gibbs College, Farmington, CT in 2009. He is assistant gallery manager at The Robert Ratigan Studio and co-curator of Valuarto Gallery, bnoth in East Greenwich, RI. His influences include Mark Rothko, Andy Warhol, Gerhard Richter and Brice Marden and his works have been featured locally in the Feinstein Museum
Item Special Note
This acrylic on vellum paper measures 15 1/2"H x 12 1/2"W.
