Item Description

18" X 24" Pastel

The piece is entitled "Friendship, Maine".  I photographed these boats from a dock on a very calm summer evening.  I usually work from photographs during winter months and this pastel painting is a wonderful reminder of my trips in this area.

This is the 19th donation for Linda Alger who has donated a piece since the first Attleboro Arts Museum auction was held.  Linda is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Museum and has worked at City Hall for the past twenty five years and is very involved as a community organizer for many city-wide events.  She is a featured columnist and she has written “The Artist’s Eye” for the Sun Chronicle’s “Living Page” for the past eight years and has contributed over 45 articles on arts and crafts.
