Item Description

30" X 22" Watercolor matted in soft grays in a gold frame.

This piece is a watercolor painting of the flower "Golden Trumpet". ON a background of soft violets and greens, the yellow elegant flowers hang at the apex of the bloom. Watercolor glazes allow the colors to glow throughout the piece.  The piece was done during regular Tuesday visits with a watercolor group to the Roger Williams Park Greenhouses.  It is one of a kind in a series of floral portraits that was done on site in a realistic manner witrh abstract overtones.
