Item Description
About this Item:
KAEMMERER began painting Danse de Paix without knowing where the piece was going. When he completed the work, he named it "Danse de Paix" ("Peacedance"). Just as he was finishing the painting, a friend sent KAEMMERER the video of "Stand By Me" performed by Playing For Change, and he was so moved by the parallels between the painting's imagery and meaning with the mission of the Playing For Change, he felt compelled him to donate the piece to the Foundation.
Item Special Note
Proceeds raised from the sale of this item will go towards The Playing For Change Foundation.
ABOUT THE PLAYING FOR CHANGE FOUNDATION
The Playing For Change Foundation (PFCF) is dedicated to connecting the world through music by providing resources (including, but not limited to facilities, supplies, and educational programs) to musicians and their communities around the world. By providing a safe place to learn and flourish, PFCF schools offer a positive alternative to the struggles that many children face daily. The mentorship and guidance the students receive from musicians and teachers provides a strong foundation for them to grow and thrive. Learn more about PFCF's work at PlayingForChange.org
