Item Description

Located just behind the beautifully renovated Place des Vosges, this exquisite apartment is situated in the "heart of Paris," the historical part of the city near the Musée Carnavalet, the Hôtel de Sully (two doors down on the rue St. Antoine), le Centre Pompidou and the Musée Picasso.

It is just a few minutes walk from the Seine River and the lovely Ile Saint-Louis. The apartment has just been renovated and is very quiet as its windows look over the cour intérieure (the inside courtyard) and the back of the Hôtel de Coulanges, which is part of the Place des Vosges.

The apartment, which has twelve-foot high ceilings, consists of a vestibule (entry hall) with large floor to ceiling built in closets, a living room/dining room with a queen-size sofa bed and a dining room table with six dining room chairs; a bedroom with a king size bed; a fully equipped kitchen with a large refrigerator, a large freezer, a new halogen stove, a dishwasher and a microwave oven, a separate large closet with a clothes washer and dryer, a half-bathroom (a separate powder room with a sink), a full bathroom with a shower.

On the rue St. Antoine, across from the apartment or within a few blocks, one can find a “Traîteur” (with home made cooking), several fruit and vegetable stores, several cheese stores, meat stores and, of course, many boulangeries/pâtisseries (bakery and pastry stores). Banks, a post-office, bookstores tea/coffee stores etc… are also available as well as a large Monoprix (a supermarket). There are of course dozens of restaurants in the neighborhood, as well as cafés, bistrots, etc.

Several bus lines and three métro stations are within minutes of the apartment (métro St. Paul, Sully Morland and Bastille).

Rue St. Antoine is parallel to the Seine River and is the continuation of the rue de Rivoli, which leads to the Place de la Concorde and the Champs Elysées.
