Item Description

24" X 30" Pastel

In my travels I often find my inspiration.  I was in Cartegena, Colombia when I witnessed this scene.  Children everywhere play the same, and there always seems to be one who is on the outside, wishing he was part of the group.

Shelly Eager started painting in the fall of 2000. Extensive travel, study and observation in books and museums, and painting workshops with numerous pastel artists have contributed to her development as an artist. Shelly is a member of a variety of art associations and her work is in the Permanent Collection of the Museum in Cesis, Latvia, the Rotating Corporate Art Collection of Texas Instruments, and in many private collections. Most recently, Shelly’s work was on exhibit in the Community Gallery the month of September, 2009 and at Preservations Framer’s the month of October 2009.
