Item Description
22" X 26" Oil on panel
This Plein Air oil painting was done by nationally noted artist T. A. Charron.
This painting was painted on location at Larson Woodland, from Sandy Point. I enjoyed the day painting and watching the swans landing and taking off from the pond. While I painted, I studied the changing patterns of the duckweed and the reflections of sky and trees. "My greatest joy is capturing the colors and composing my painting from nature".
T.A. Charron studied at the Art Institute of Boston and with painters: Norman Baer, Walter Marks, Daniel E. Greene, Robert Bateman and Robert Douglas Hunter. T.A. has received over 90 awards of excellence in both painting and drawing. He is an elected member of many American art societies. His work is in the permanent collections of museums and many other public and private collections worldwide. His commissioned painting of Dr. Martin Luther King and other prominent portraits have been unveiled to thousands of people. He paints on location and in his north light studio in South Attleboro as well as on location throughout the eastern part of the United States. Presently, Charron is curating and exhibition for the Cape Cod Museum of Art on the deceased artists of the Southeastern Massachusetts area for the Spring of 2012.
