Item Description

22" X 15" Oil on board

This 15" X 22" oil on canvas is a happy peaceful place, the artist would enjoy.  The shadowy, country road with wild flowers seems to go on and on.  Sunshine bounces off the natural flora, waving in the breeze, while a betterfly flutters by.  Bright, cheery and stress free, it invites you in for a leisurelt stroll. The frame is in brown wood with a gold inner edge.

Marian Wrightington started painting after moving into one of Attleboro's oldest houses. She loved painting older styles and studied with a number of local artists. Coming from a long line of New Englanders, Marian feels deeply connected to an earlier era. Her objective is to preserve her heritage while sharing nature, history and antiques, along with her art.  She has displayed her work at the Morini Gallery in Mansfield and Cinnamon Stix in W. Dennis.
