Item Description
2011 will begin as a very good year for you and those you toast as you instantly collect over 100 bottles of fine wine. These bottles were generously donated by CASA board members, volunteers and Friends of CASA Lake County. Ranging from table wines to unique vintages, some of the bottles even include a note from the donors about why the wine or CASA Lake County is important to them. This exquisite collection includes a 2005 Turley Paso Robles Zinfandel and the first vintage of a 2005 Seek wine from Napa Valley, an exclusive collector’s item. Now keep 16 of your favorite bottles ready to drink at a moment’s notice at the perfect temperature in your new Cuisinart wine cooler and send the rest to Kent Certified Cellar & Trust where they will be stored under optimum conditions for one year.
And to toast your new acquisition, invite 9 friends (for a total of 10) to an exclusive in-home tasting and reception with noted wine director, Brian Duncan. Partner, Wine Director and Wine Chef, Brian Duncan has contributed his expertise to two of Chicago’s premier dining destinations: BIN 36 Restaurant, Wine Bar & Market and Bin Wine Cafe. Featured as one of America’s leading wine experts in the February 2007 issue of GQ and the September 2006 issue of Food & Wine magazine; a previous recipient of the prestigious “Good Eating” award from the Chicago Tribune and thrice-nominated for Chicago’s Jean Banchet Awards for Culinary Excellence in the Best Sommelier category, Duncan is recognized for his knowledgeable, friendly and sympathetic approach to wine education. Appetizers to tantalize your taste buds will be generously provided by Events by M. Her events are not to be missed.
Cheers!
