Item Description

2 tickets to The Flea Theater's  holiday production LOOKING AT CHRISTMAS, which plays through December 30.

Founded in 1996 by three of New York’s most acclaimed downtown theater artists—director Jim Simpson, designer Kyle Chepulis and playwright Mac Wellman—the award-winning Flea Theater was originally formed out of the purely artistic impulse to create “a joyful hell in a small space”. Brash, energetic and dedicated, they quickly became a downtown beacon for creative artists of every discipline, and for audiences seeking bold and inventive work.

ABOUT LOOKING AT CHRISTMAS

http://www.theflea.org/show_detail.php?page_type=0&page_id=3&show_id=72

Christmas Eve. New York City. A down on his luck writer and a struggling actress meet while looking at the famous holiday windows. What they don’t realize is that the windows are looking back – from Tiny Tim toting a ray gun to an amorous elf with an eye for Mrs. Claus. Featuring The Bats, Looking at Christmas is a sweet, smart, slightly twisted romantic comedy.

According to Artistic Director Jim Simpson: “At The Flea, we are always looking for something different — and the holidays are no exception. Having the head writer from SpongeBob Squarepants take on Christmas, New York, and holiday windows fits the bill.”
