Item Description
Be part of the limited crew of National Park Service biologists and volunteers to conduct the annual deer survey in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Learn about and be part of the crew to count the deer population density in CVNP using spotting lights. Your behind-the-scene experience will be from 5pm to 10pm in early November 2011 for up to 4 people. One group of two will survey deer in an elevated truck on the train tracks and on the park roads, while the second group of two will survey park roads only.
Participants must be 16 years or older.

Item Special Note
Valid for an evening in early November 2011 (5-10pm) only. The date will be mutually agreed upon with park staff. Participant must be able to climb in and out of the back of a pickup truck and willing to be outside in the cold, sometimes freezing temperatures.
Group of four will be split into two groups of two participants and travel in seperate vehicles.
Winner can pick up item Saturday, December 11, 2010 through Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Park Place in Peninsula, 1593 Main Street, Peninsula 44264 (open daily, 10 am-5 pm). Item can be shipped, upon request; actual postage fee will apply.
