This camp is exclusive for boys 9 to 14 years-old that have never attended McCallie Sports Camp. Open to all skill levels.
- Dates (12 nights): June 13-June 25; June 27-July 9 or July 11-23.
- Location: Chattanooga, TN
McCallie Sports Camp has become one of the most popular and successful camps of its type in the Southeast. A variety of athletic activities are combined with trips and other fun events. Emphasis is on fun, sportsmanship, and participation. Whether playing his favorite sport or learning a new sport, each camper leaves with a feeling of satisfaction and achievement -- and has fun!
- PHILOSOPHY: Provide boys of various athletic abilities an action-oriented camp with an emphasis on fun and participation. McCallie School's motto is "Man's chief end is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever."
- TEAMS: 120 campers per session are placed in leagues by age with 4 teams in each league. Boys are placed on teams based on their age, roommate request, athletic ability, and other criteria derived from the camper's completed application. All boys play all sports with their team.
- ACTIVITIES: Over 25 different activities, ranging from team and individual sports, tournaments, excursions to Six Flags and Atlanta Braves baseball, paintball, white-water rafting and more at no extra cost.
- SUPERVISION: Three-to-one camper-counselor ratio. An experienced staff of McCallie coaches, graduates and current students are selected for their moral character, maturity of judgment and their ability to work with children.
- FACILITIES: McCallie School grounds include numerous groomed fields, the McCallie Lake, new outdoor track, football stadium, and air-conditioned dorms. The award winning, $13-million, 180,000 square-foot Sports and Activities Center (SAC) is the Sports Camp center of operation. The SAC contains an immense indoor pool, four basketball courts, a 200 meter indoor track, racquetball court, climbing wall, weight room, and activity center with pool tables, table tennis, game room and air hockey.
