Item Description

A one-hour one-on-one music lesson with Stacy Woolley will fine-tune the winning bidder's violin skills. Date for lessons will be at a mutually-determined at a time and place to be mutually established. It's a unique opportunity to study the violin with a master! Stacey Woolley, a Cincinnati native, joined the CSO in 1989 and holds the Brenda and Ralph Taylor Chair in the orchestra. He attended Boston University 1979-1981, studied with Boston Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster Joseph Silverstein; B.Mus., summa cum laude, College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati, 1983, studied with Dorothy DeLay; 1984-1989, member, First Violin section of Detroit Symphony Orchestra; 1989-present, Section Second Violinist with the CSO; Member and past President, Cincinnati MacDowell Society; Member of the Board of Society for Preservation of Music Hall; Former Adjunct Professor of Violin: College-Conservatory of Music (1989-1991); Miami University (1999-2000); Cedarville University (1999-2007)
