Artist Statement

I started creating mosaics on weekends around 2005 after my children became adults and moved out (no more weekend sports, etc.).  I am self-taught and enjoy trying new things and using recycled materials and found objects.  The thing I enjoy most about the creation of a piece is when I clean the grout off, I love how it all comes together.   I’m not much on a specific plan when I start and constantly change the piece until done.  I hope you enjoy my piece.
