Doug Thompson is an award-winning illustrator and painter creating vibrant conceptual images in a variety of mediums, with a specialization in watercolor. Doug's editorial illustrations regularly appear in local, regional and national publications, and his children's book illustrations have delighted many young readers. Doug's paintings have appeared in several galleries in Washington, DC and Richmond, Virginia, including Glave Kocen, Ghostprint and Edison Place galleries, and he participates in the 43rd Street Festival of the Arts in Richmond. Doug is also a sought-after instructor for private painting lessons for individuals and small groups.
