Item Description
These koa planks were harvested from the mountains above Kamuela town known as waimea on the island of Hawaii. They then traveled to the east side of the island to the town of Hilo and were left to dry in the upland for two years. In late august 2010 they were brought down the mountain to the Hawaiian home lands known as keaukaha, where life was instilled back in them.
Shaper Carlos Kuhn.
