Item Description
Celadon is a high-fired stoneware process in which the surface of glaze is lustrous and jade-like. The glazes are almost an indescribable hue, ranging from greens, yellows, grays and blues.
This lovely sea green celadon vase was produced at the Jingdezhen kilns, in the northeastern part of Jiangxi Province (known as the porcelain center of the world). It is beautifully embossed with flowers and vine patterns. Approximately 6.5 inches tall and 6.5 inches wide. Packaged in a silk brocade gift box. Handcrafted in China.
