You're bidding on three months of top-quality Aikido instruction from Austin Iwama Aikido.
Aikido is a traditional and dynamic martial art. Through the rigorous training of powerful self-defense techniques, that can be used against a wide variety of attacks, Aikido promotes the development of strong character, total fitness and reduction of stress in a harmonious training environment.
Item Special Note
Terms and Conditions:
- The winner must be at least 14 years of age.
- The winner must agree to sign a liability waiver, follow all instructions given by the instructor, and abide by the terms of enrollment to claim their prize.
- The duration of the prize is three months, to the day, from the time the prize is claimed (i.e., the winner comes to the dojo and enrolls).
- The winner may participate in as many lessons as they wish for the duration of the prize.
- The prize does not include a uniform. A uniform is not required for training for the duration of the prize; however the winner must dress in clothes appropriate for exercise.
- If the winner opts to continue training after the prize duration has expired, they will be required to purchase a uniform and begin paying a monthly tuition fee.
- All classes are held at Aim and Focus Karate. It is the winner's responsibility to provide transportion for themselves to and from their Aikido lessons. Please see the website for the address. http://www.aimandfocus.com/
- Classes are held 7:30 – 8:30pm Monday / Wednesday and 8:15am – 9:30am Tuesday / Thursday.
- The winner should show up 10 minutes before the class begins on the day they intend to claim their prize for paperwork.
- Aikido is a martial art involving strenuous exercise and personal body contact. The winner should be in good health and consult their physician to be sure that Aikido training is reasonable for them before bidding on this item.
- This is a local, Austin-only, item.
