The Museum of the Marine Corps opened in November 2006 and exhibits more than two centuries of Marine Corps history. Join with us as we honor the service, commitment, and sacrifices made by all Marines.
George served between Mar 66 and Dec 69. He served 13 mos in VietNam with Kilo and Mike Companies 3rd Bn / 7th Marines (Regiment). He was a platoon commander of 3rd and 1st Plt in Kilo and led Mike as Company CO until wounded a second time, and finished as CO of H&S Company of the Battalion. George relished his time with the Corps and continues to serve as a docent with his wife.
